Solutions Consultant (New York)
By the time a Solutions Consultant joins a Levelpath deal, the customer already knows something has to change. Their procurement team has confirmed the pain, found the budget, and named a champion. What they need next is someone who can show them, in their own terms, what better looks like.
Levelpath is the modern AI procurement platform for global enterprises. It gives procurement, finance, legal, and IT a complete view of spend, from intake and sourcing to contracting and payment. Since its founding in 2022, the company's mission has been to make procurement delightful, and customer obsession is its number one value.
We are hiring a Solutions Consultant, based in our New York office, to lead customers from that first custom demo through go-live. You'll run demos, POCs, and pilots before the contract is signed, then lead the implementation after it. Once a customer is fully live, our Customer Success team takes it from there and you move on to the next one.
What You'll Work On
You'll join deals at stage 2 and stay with each customer through go-live.
- Lead custom demos for procurement, finance, legal, and IT stakeholders, tying the platform to each customer's pain and the value they expect
- Support the POCs, POVs, and pilots that prove the case, and build relationships with the champions and stakeholders who carry it inside the account
- Partner with Account Executives across the business to bring new Levelpath products and solutions to customers as the platform grows
- Run implementations from kickoff to go-live, then hand customers to Customer Success set up for strong adoption
- Guide customers toward best practices, including when that means challenging what they first asked for, and capture them in guides and documentation customers can rely on after go-live
- Bring customer feedback and success metrics to Product and Engineering as clear, actionable product requests
- Help build the processes, assets, and systems (Zendesk & Salesforce) the team uses to serve enterprise accounts
What Success Looks Like
- By 90 days, you've passed both Levelpath product certifications, one high level and one deep dive
- You lead new implementations and POVs on your own
- The customers you implement go live and start getting value from the platform quickly
- You contribute thought leadership and assets that help the rest of the team move faster
- By six months, you're the product expert customers and teammates turn to
Location
This role is onsite in our New York office at 250 Broadway, Suite 24-112, in Lower Manhattan. Levelpath is in office, and culture is a big part of what the team is building together. Fully remote candidates will not be considered.
Hiring Process
Provn is our hiring partner. Your application starts with Sell to the Head of Procurement, a challenge Levelpath built with Provn. It takes about 45 minutes, followed by a short video where you present your work the way you would to a customer. Levelpath wants to see how you find the pain, connect the product to it, and make the value clear to a senior buyer.
Have you given up on applying to roles because you don't have a referral? Hiring managers working with Provn find that video submissions are more valuable than referrals when deciding who to interview.
What We're Looking For
Your audience is CFOs, CPOs, procurement teams, and leaders in finance, operations, and IT.
- 6+ years of professional experience, including at least 4 years in a direct customer-facing role (customer success, implementation, or solutions consulting)
- Hands-on experience implementing procurement software for customers. You've built workflows and configured fields inside the tool yourself, beyond managing the project
- Consulting experience, at a firm or in-house, where you advised clients on strategy and then implemented the tools you recommended
- Presence and polish with senior audiences: you can lead a room, handle hard questions, and communicate clearly in writing and in person
- A consultative approach, with an example of a time you challenged a customer's assumptions and redirected them toward a better path
- Learning agility. You can pick up a fast-changing product on your own, without a long, structured onboarding
- Customer obsession: empathy, patience, and urgency with customers, plus examples of taking ownership and going above and beyond for them
- A track record of growth, such as promotions or steadily expanding responsibility
- B2B SaaS experience in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple workstreams and improving processes as you go
- BA or BS, and availability for some travel when it's time to visit your customers
Nice to Have
- Experience implementing SAP or Coupa
- Consulting experience at a firm such as Deloitte, EY, McKinsey, or PwC
- Procure-to-pay experience you can draw on with customers
- Experience using AI in your daily work, such as building agents or automated workflows. Levelpath uses generative AI in every department, not only engineering, to ship new features quickly while keeping quality high
- 100% Medical, dental, and vision insurance
- Flexible PTO, Parental Leave, Sick Leave
- Competitive compensation and equity package
- 401k
- Commuter benefits
- In-office snacks and Friday team lunches
- Team-driven happy hours and celebrations
