The resume stopped carrying signal. The interview picked it up.

93%

Clutch, State of AI Hiring 2026
Interviewers are probing harder because they trust less. A rehearsed script collapses at the second follow-up. Evidence you own doesn’t.
Every job description hides a rubric. Find it, then prove it.
Hiring teams score you on a handful of dimensions they rarely publish. We reverse-engineer them from the posting, map your evidence to each one, and find the gaps before the interviewer does.
Most candidates undersell the work they actually did. They describe the task and skip the decision. That’s obvious ninety seconds into an interview. It’s fixable in a week.
Four sessions. One interview.
7 to 14 days, working back from your interview date, with at least 48 hours between the two mocks. Written deliverables arrive within 24 hours.
Session 0, async
Intake
Send your resume, the target job description, your interview date, and any Provn challenge, Proving Ground score, or Resume Rubric Report.
You own
A plan built backward from your date, not a generic calendar.
Session 1, 60 min
Positioning & JD/Rubric Gap Analysis
What is this role really scoring, and where does your evidence fall short?
You own
A JD + Rubric Analysis: the job description reverse-engineered into 5-7 scored dimensions, an evidence map, and your top 3 risks. Plus Positioning Doc v1: a one-sentence positioning and 3 proof points.
Session 2, 60 min
Story Bank & Narrative Build
Which three or four stories carry the whole interview?
You own
3-4 one-page STAR “deep file” stories with the ownership language rewritten, and an Interview Prep Doc: public employer context, what the role is really testing, likely questions, and 4-5 questions to ask that sell you.
Session 3, 60 min
Scored Mock Interview
Recorded. Scored on the same dimensions from Session 1.
You own
A Scored Mock Analysis: tier labels per dimension, verbatim quotes as evidence, one rewritten answer per weak dimension, and a drill-down rehearsal list.
Session 4, 60 min
Final Mock & Debrief
Did the weak dimensions actually move?
You own
A Readiness Report showing tier movement on your weakest dimensions, a day-of one-pager, and your questions to ask.
Three moves that change how you sound under pressure.
The ownership rewrite
“I provided numbers and they decided” becomes “My analysis showed X; leadership used it to do Y; the result was Z.” Same facts. You’re in the decision now.
Drill-down rehearsal
Every story gets three follow-up layers deep. If it holds at the third “why,” it holds in the room.
Questions to ask, as evidence
Your last five minutes are scored too. We build 4-5 questions that show you already understand the problem the role exists to solve.
Top-tier work. Presented as a reporting analyst.
A data analyst’s Provn challenge scored in the top tier. In her first mock she described herself as a reporting analyst: she pulled the numbers, other people decided.
Her strongest story was a counterfactual analysis that changed a contract decision. Coaching reframed it so she owned the decision, not just the spreadsheet. She received written guidance within an hour of the session.
Anonymized pilot. Shared with permission. Details changed to protect identity.
Documents, not a pep talk.
JD + Rubric Analysis
The hidden scorecard for your role, with your evidence mapped against it.
Positioning Doc
One sentence and three proof points you can say in your sleep.
Story bank
3-4 deep-file STAR stories, rewritten so the decisions are yours.
Interview Prep Doc
What the role is really testing, likely questions, and questions to ask.
Two scored mocks
Tier labels, verbatim quotes, and rewritten answers for each weak dimension.
Readiness Report
Tier movement on your weakest dimensions, plus a day-of one-pager.
One thing we won’t promise: an offer. Anyone selling you four sessions with a job at the end is lying to you.
Book if
- You have an interview on the calendar, or one is close.
- You’re going for Account Executive / Solutions Engineer, Growth / AI Marketer, AI PM, Data Analyst / Scientist, or customer-facing FDE roles.
- Your work is strong but your answers undersell it.
- You’d rather be scored than reassured.
Don’t book if
- You don’t have an interview yet. Start with a Resume Review.
- You want scripted answers to memorize. They break at the first follow-up.
- You’re in an active Provn search for this role. Readiness support is free for you.
- You want to build new skills, not present existing ones. Look at the AI Career Sprint.
Questions before you book
How is this different from mock-interview marketplaces?
Three things. We reverse-engineer your target job description into 5 to 7 scored dimensions and coach against them. If you have a Provn challenge or Proving Ground result, we start from it. We also use your video walkthrough as evidence of how you explain your own decisions. Every session ends in a written deliverable within 24 hours.
Who are the coaches?
Provn coaches are practitioners who build and apply the rubrics Provn uses to score challenge work. Your coach is named at intake and stays with you for all four sessions.
What happens if my interview moves?
We re-plan the schedule backward from the new date. If it moves up, we compress, keeping at least 48 hours between the two mocks where possible. If it moves out, your remaining sessions wait for you.
Does paying for a service affect my Provn score?
No. Buying coaching never changes a score. Evaluators can’t see who paid. Paid services are not available for a role where Provn is running the search for that employer; candidates in an active Provn search get readiness support free.
Can my employer reimburse this?
Often, yes. Ask at booking or in your application and we will send a receipt and a reimbursement letter your finance or learning team can use.
Is there a guarantee?
No. This is skills-development feedback only. There is no guarantee of employment or of any interview outcome, Provn is not affiliated with any employer’s hiring process, and nothing here is an employment decision.
Your interview has a date. Work back from it.
Tell us the role and the date. We’ll set up a call and map out the plan.
