Wells Fargo — 2027 Audit Summer Internship

Wells Fargo is seeking talent to join the Audit Summer Internship Program in Internal
Audit. This is a 10-week, non-rotational professional development program that
introduces participants to Wells Fargo operations, business strategies, and corporate
culture through relevant work assignments.

Internal Audit supports the entire enterprise as an independent assurance function that
evaluates the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. The
internship includes relationship building, work assignments, coaching, performance
feedback sessions, group projects, and learning sessions with key leaders — designed to
blend business and professional development training with real-world experience.

In this role, you will:

• Participate in the formal internship program in Internal Audit
• Complete various audit assignments and become familiar with policies, procedures, and audit methodology
• Work under the guidance of experienced audit staff and managers
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to achieve goals

Program duration: June – August 2027

Program locations: Charlotte, NC · Irving, TX · Minneapolis, MN (subject to business
needs)

Required:

• 6+ months of work experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education\

Desired:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a Technology-related field, with
  expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028
• Involvement in extracurricular enrichment activities (volunteerism, student organizations, study abroad, leadership positions, non-profit involvement)
• Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office and data analysis techniques
• Familiarity with AI-powered productivity tools (chat-based assistants, Microsoft Copilot) for research, organizing information, and creating presentations — with
  strong interest in using them responsibly
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools, processes, and business challenges using critical thinking, data analysis, and problem-solving
• Ability to prioritize effectively, support audit management activities, and apply business reporting/analysis skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Ability to collaborate with diverse teams, communicate clearly, build inclusive relationships, and incorporate feedback
• Business acumen and commitment to service — understanding client and business needs
