Republic Bank Branch Operations Intern

Are you a current Junior or Senior in college seeking an internship with a Finance or
Business focus? Republic Finance is seeking Interns for our Branch Operations program.

As a Branch Ops Intern, you'll learn the daily functions and operations of a branch, as
well as the broader organization and career paths we offer. You'll interact with team
members and leaders to gain real-world experience across many aspects of day-to-day
branch operations and the overall business — including the Republic Way sales and
customer service approach, compliance training, loan closing, leadership training, and
one or more branch operations continuous improvement projects involving other
departments.

What you'll do:

• Become licensed and go through an accelerated version of the Assistant Branch Manager Program to learn the loan process and required regulatory training
• Assist with daily production of loan origination, processing, closings, and fundings — including allocating files for doc prep, auditing closed files, and prepping files
  ready to fund
• Spend time with your Manager and Regional Vice President learning their responsibilities to understand your promotional path at Republic Finance
• Attend regional meetings and/or workshops (as available) for exposure to the larger Branch Operations division
• Learn about one or more Branch Operations process improvement projects
• Learn about corporate roles where branch backgrounds are often strongly desired (Audit, Compliance, Training, Recruiting, etc.)

We pay Branch Operations Interns $15.00/hour, with the goal of offering full-time
employment upon successful completion of the program, starting post-graduation. This
role is 100% onsite.

• Must be a Junior or Senior majoring in Business, Finance, or a related field
• Eager to learn, enthusiastic, and reliable with a strong work ethic
• Able to work a minimum of 18–20 hours per week
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Must meet acceptable standards for criminal background history and credit history, and pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Eligible for insurance licensing to sell voluntary insurance products (eligibility is based on a criminal background check conducted by the state's department of insurance)
