Your goal for the next 90 days is to build or scale one core growth engine that can compound over time (e.g., SEO, performance marketing, influencer/affiliate, or another channel you think is high leverage).
Create a one-page "90-Day Growth Engine for Plus AI" plan, then record a video walking through your thinking in detail.
Challenge Guidelines
Assessment Format:
- Written Artifact: One-page "90-Day Growth Engine for Plus AI" plan (create this first)
- Video Response: One continuous recording, 5-8 minutes
- AI Usage Declaration: Required
This challenge is intentionally simple:
- Create one 1-page growth artifact
- Record a single 5-8 minute video where you walk us through that artifact in detail
We want to see how you think about growth strategy, experimentation, and focus for a PLG AI product --- and how clearly you can communicate your plan.
Video Requirements (5-8 minutes total):
Record one continuous video (no need to edit) where you share your screen and walk through your 1-page artifact.
1. Quick Context (≈ 30-60 seconds)
- Briefly summarize your chosen target segment, core problem, and growth lever
- One sentence on why you focused here
2. Deep Dive on the Plan (≈ 4-6 minutes) Walk us through your 1-page plan in detail:
- How you chose your primary growth engine (SEO, performance, influencer, etc.)
- The experiments you'd run and what you expect to learn from each
- How you'd measure success and decide what to double down on or kill
- How this engine compounds over time if it works (what "better" looks like at 6-12 months)
3. How You'd Actually Operate It (≈ 1-2 minutes)
- If you started at Plus AI tomorrow, how would you use this plan in your first 90 days?
- How often would you review metrics, and with whom?
- One example of how you'd adjust the plan if early results were weaker or stronger than expected
Focus on clarity, prioritization, and your reasoning --- we're not grading design polish.

2. Chosen Growth Lever (1-2 max)
- What main channel or engine will you focus on for these 90 days?
- Why this lever for Plus AI right now (e.g., intent, unit economics, compounding potential)?
3. Key Experiments & Tactics (3-5 bullets)
- What specific experiments will you run in this period?
- How do they ladder up to proving or improving this growth engine?
4. Success Metrics & Guardrails (3-5 bullets)
- What success metrics will you track? (e.g., signups from SEO, paid CAC vs LTV proxy, activation rate, team conversions)
- Any guardrails? (e.g., max CAC, minimum retention, quality thresholds)
5. Sequencing & Focus (simple timeline or phases)
- How you'd roughly sequence the work across the 90 days (e.g., 0-30, 30-60, 60-90)
- What you're deliberately not doing in this period (to protect focus)
Think of it as a draft you'd email to the founders to align on one concrete 90-day growth thesis.
