Big Data Developer

We are looking for a Big Data Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data processing pipelines using Spark, Scala, and Python. This is a 12-month contract with a strong likelihood of a 24-month extension.

Three days onsite/2 days remote. Duration 12 months-strong liklihood of 24 month extension

DATA PIPELINE DEVELOPMENT: Design, develop, and maintain scalable data processing pipelines using Spark, Scala, and Python. Build and optimize ETL processes for large-volume data ingestion and transformation. Develop and optimize applications for large-scale data processing

CLOUD INFRASTRUCTURE: Build, deploy, and secure data infrastructure and applications on GCP

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 7+ years IT engineering experience 5+ years Big Data development using PySpark, Python, and Scala

REQUIRED SKILLS: Strong batch processing experience Hands-on GCP cloud platform experience (build, deploy, secure) Proven ability to process extremely large data volumes in enterprise environments 5+ years in data processing, pipeline development, and performance tuning 4+ years of design and development experience Prior financial services industry experience required

DESIRED SKILLS: Background in financial crimes technology domain
