Front-end Engineer (Entry Level)

We believe in the mission and care deeply about helping people achieve more by communicating better. We're looking for a front-end engineer who has experience building web applications and user interfaces through internships, coursework, or personal projects. You care about the user experience and ensure it's beautiful, responsive, and robust across many different platforms. While you enjoy working full stack, you enjoy having the frontend be a focus of your efforts. You deliver high quality work at a rapid pace, while efficiently collaborating with Design, PM, and other engineers.

This role is hybrid with an expectation of 3 days a week in the office - you'll need to be based in the Greater Seattle Area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and scale web applications from the ground up
• Develop beautiful, responsive, and robust user interfaces
• Collaborate efficiently with Design, Product Management, and Engineering teams
• Implement designs and integrate systems with modern design frameworks
• Ship high-quality code at a rapid pace
• Build and debug reactive web apps with cross-browser compatibility

• Candidate must be Seattle based
• Candidate must be a US citizen or Green Card holder.
• Recent graduate with a degree in Computer Science or related field, with experience shipping code through internships, projects, or coursework
• Able to write code in commonly used frontend languages and frameworks (ideally: TypeScript, React, CSS)
• Experience building and debugging reactive web apps with cross-browser compatibility
• Experience implementing designs and integrating systems with modern design frameworks
• Humility, creativity, and team-first attitude, with a love for learning
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or an equivalent work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Leadership experience in student organizations, hackathons, or team projects
• Material UI experience
• Next.js experience
• NoSQL databases experience
• API implementation and design
• Previous internship experience
