Full Stack Software Engineer

TalentReach on behalf of their client is seeking a highly motivated and innately curious Senior Software Engineer. A successful candidate will have a demonstrated history of developing scalable enterprise and/or fintech applications. They should be a self-sufficient problem solver, bringing a good balance between a depth and breadth of experience, while maintaining a strong desire to explore new technologies and solutions for building an AI-powered fintech platform aimed at modernizing financial operations for enterprise customers.

Role & Responsibilities: Their customer base ranges from midsize businesses to large-scale enterprise customers. You'll be responsible for building out our product into a full-fledged enterprise offering, leveraging modern technologies to build scalable and robust solutions to problems like document and data processing, reconciling financial transactions, complex financial calculations, analytics & reporting, forecasting, and more.

The ideal candidate loves building high quality, secure, scalable solutions, thrives in a fast paced environment, and enjoys contributing from both a technical and product perspective.

You'll be working with seasoned tech veterans and play a central role in building out our product at all levels, including:

• Building out new product features/areas, our platform, and supporting services
• System design and architecture
• Infrastructure configuration, deployment, and maintenance
• Database management, testing, monitoring

Tech Stack:

• TypeScript (React, Node.js)
• SQL/PostgreSQL

• 4-8 years of full-stack experience
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript (React, Node.js)
• Experience with SQL/PostgreSQL
• Technically strong: fast learner, deeply curious, strong system design and problem solving abilities, good at identifying tradeoffs between different solutions
• Proactive, self-sufficient, biased toward action, end-to-end ownership
• Strong opinions, loosely held

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working at high growth stage startups
• Experience in fintech/finance/accounting/insurance and/or enterprise SaaS software
• Experience with CRM/ERP (e.g. Salesforce, Quickbooks) and banking integrations
• Experience with financial calculations, analytics, and data science
