    About Empwr.ai

Empwr is the AI PM for cross-functional engineering programs. The platform captures the coordination context that tools miss — dependencies, decisions, risks, and execution health — so programs ship on time. Customers run mission-critical programs in automotive and industrials, where coordination failures show up as recalls, missed launches, and lost OEM trust.

The founding team brings 60+ years of building enterprise execution software at Microsoft (Project, Office, Xbox), Atlassian, and Meta. Live customers include Tier 1 automotive suppliers and industrial manufacturers, with ACVs running $150K to $675K and multi-year expansion paths.

Empwr isn't a note-taker. It's a system of intelligence for how organizations actually work.

    The Role

This is one of Empwr.ai's first dedicated sales hires, sitting at headquarters in Seattle. You're not here to manage a team. You're here to be on the field — running your own pipeline, owning the full sales cycle, and building the playbook as you go.

You'll work alongside the founders and absorb the product by osmosis — understanding Empwr's technical depth from the inside so you can translate it into business outcomes for enterprise buyers. You'll have real influence over how Empwr goes to market. If the company scales the way we expect, you'll grow into a leadership role. But right now, the job is winning deals.

    What You'll Do

    • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close — outbound is part of the role, not just inbound follow-up
    • Target enterprise and mid-market accounts in industrial, automotive, and adjacent sectors
    • Conduct executive-level conversations with CTOs, VPs of Engineering, heads of operations, and business leadership
    • Run discovery and demos that translate Empwr's technical depth into business outcomes buyers care about
    • Generate your own pipeline through outbound prospecting, referrals, product usage data, and partner introductions
    • Build and refine the enterprise sales playbook in collaboration with the founding team — document what works so the next sellers can execute it
    • Use AI tools natively in your workflow — including Empwr.ai itself — and stay current on what's changing in the space
    • Develop channel and consulting partner relationships to extend Empwr's reach into new accounts and regions

    How You'll Be Successful

    • Entrepreneurial drive — you create your own pipeline, messaging, and processes without waiting for an established playbook or dedicated marketing support. You make something out of nothing.
    • Value-driven selling — you run consultative discovery that uncovers real business problems, then articulate Empwr's unique value with conviction tailored to each buyer.
    • Organizational navigation — you map complex stakeholder landscapes, identify champions and blockers, and build multi-threaded relationships across the buying committee.
    • Cross-functional partnership — you work with product, engineering, and leadership to shape solutions, packaging, and creative approaches to winning deals.
    • Adaptability and persistence — you stay effective in ambiguous, fast-moving environments. You iterate quickly, stay positive through long enterprise cycles, and treat setbacks as signal.

    How We Hire

Empwr.ai is partnering with Provn — a merit-based hiring platform — to run this search. The process is designed to surface who you actually are as a seller, not just what's on your resume.

    • Start with a short introduction: who are you, what drives you, and what would someone need to know about you that doesn't show up on paper
    • Complete a real sales challenge built around Empwr's actual ICP and sales motion
    • Record a video walkthrough of your approach and thinking
    • Top candidates are scored against a structured rubric and advance to a conversation with the Empwr team

Performance over pedigree. Proof over polish.

No AI-drafted outreach. Real candidates engage with the work — we will do the same.

Empwr.ai is an equal-opportunity employer. We hire on signal, not pedigree. If you've done the work but your resume doesn't perfectly match the bullets above, apply anyway and tell us what we're missing.

    Required Qualifications

    Must-Haves

    • 3–6 years in B2B SaaS or enterprise software sales with a track record of carrying a quota and closing business — BDR-to-AE track welcome
    • Full-cycle seller: you can prospect, run discovery, demo, negotiate, and close without someone handing you a playbook first
    • Strong communicator who can hold a room with an enterprise buyer and write a follow-up email that actually moves the deal forward
    • AI-fluent: you incorporate AI tools into how you work and you're genuinely curious about the space
    • Self-directed and entrepreneurial — you thrive when building from scratch and don't need close oversight to stay productive
    • Seattle-based or willing to relocate — in-office presence matters at this stage for product immersion and founder collaboration

    Strong Plus

    • Experience selling into industrial, automotive, or manufacturing verticals — you know what an OEM procurement cycle looks like
    • Sold AI, analytics, or productivity software to operations, IT leadership, or C-suite buyers at companies with 1,000+ employees
    • Channel or partner sales experience — consulting firms, system integrators, or implementation partners
    • Familiarity with enterprise buying processes: security reviews, legal, procurement, and multi-stakeholder approvals
    • You've been at a zero-to-one company before, or you have a clear-eyed view of why you're built for it now
    Benefits & Perks
    • $200 to $280,000 OTE (Base + bonus)
    • Ground-floor opportunity at a company with live enterprise customers, a differentiated product, and a clear wedge into a massive market
    • Direct access to the CEO, CPO, and CTO — you're in the room where strategy gets shaped, not just executing someone else's plan
    • Career-defining work — build a sales motion from scratch, land flagship logos, and lay the foundation for Empwr's enterprise future
    • Commission structure that rewards performance, not tenure — meaningful upside reflects how seriously the company takes sales
    • Real product-market fit — Empwr solves a problem enterprises already know they have, in an industry where coordination failures cost millions
