As a Senior Software Engineer, you are a product-minded, customer-focused, full-stack engineer who designs, builds, and operates the software that powers our travel platform. You take ownership of significant features and services end to end, from design through production, and you set a high bar for engineering quality on the teams you work with. You have built real systems that run in production, and you know what it takes to keep them scalable, reliable, secure, and fast under real-world load. You make sound architectural decisions, weigh trade-offs across performance, reliability, security, cost, and speed-to-market, and partner with product and engineering peers to ship work that matters. You bring strong judgment to your craft, using modern tools including AI coding agents to move faster without compromising quality, security, or maintainability. You work with a high degree of independence on the areas you own, with work reviewed for technical quality and delivery outcomes.

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
EXPERIENCE: 5 to 8 years of full-stack development building web applications and services. Demonstrated experience shipping a consumer or enterprise application that ran in production and served real users. Experience as an engineer at a mature engineering organization with established development, testing, code review, release, and operational practices. A track record of building scalable, reliable systems, not just prototypes, with hands-on experience designing and operating low-latency, high-performance systems.
AI-ASSISTED DEVELOPMENT: Proficiency using AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) in professional workflows, with the judgment to know where and how to apply them.
TECHNICAL SKILLS: Proficiency in one or more of TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, C#/.NET. Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, Vue, or Angular). Solid experience with RESTful API design, distributed systems, and microservices. Experience building and deploying cloud-native solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
