Brilliant Earth needed an AI Product Strategist. 231 people applied. Provn surfaced 10 interview-ready builders in 10 days, with zero phone screens. The Profiles replaced the HR screen entirely. Brilliant Earth hired Alexandrea R., who beat product managers from Microsoft and Meta. The hiring SVP put it plainly:
“I feel like I know you already.”
Erin McHugh Saif, CEO of Measure Well, hired the company’s founding Senior Director of Operations.
“The evaluation summary you’re able to consume before you meet with a candidate saves hours, maybe days and weeks.”
Provn is where builders prove what they can do with AI. The resume stopped carrying signal. AI writes them now, they all read alike, and a hiring manager can't tell who is good or who is even a person. A Provn Application replaces the guesswork. A builder takes on a challenge drawn from what companies are hiring against, records a video walkthrough of that thinking, and gets an objective score with specific feedback inside 48 hours. All of it builds a Provn Profile, a portfolio the builder owns, grows, and sends with every application. The resume is dead. The Profile is what replaces it.
Provn curates challenge prompts by occupation and role, alongside prompts attached to specific open jobs. A builder builds something in response and records a walkthrough. Both save to the Profile. Every completed submission is reviewed by the Provn team, humans, and comes back with feedback. Apply to a job and that work is packaged and curated for the hiring manager. The Profile gets built once and reused on as many roles as a builder wants.
Employers start with a short call with Provn's founder, Nikesh Parekh. He maps a challenge to one role the company is hiring for right now. Candidates complete it, record video walkthroughs, and arrive as a scored shortlist. Brilliant Earth went from 231 applicants to 10 interview-ready candidates in 10 days, with zero phone screens. The For Employers page is where to book.
Builders get started free. A free account opens the Proving Ground community, saves completed challenge prompts to a Provn Profile, and submits Provn Applications to open roles, all at no cost. Premium services like interview coaching and AI mentorship are coming soon.
A resume is still required, and it's uploaded once. Provn absorbs the parts that matter, employment history, education, and certifications, and uses them to populate the Profile. Employers receive it with every application. What changes is how much it has to carry. Instead of evenings spent reframing old job history so it reads as AI-fluent, those hours go toward answering a question a company is trying to solve. The proof leads. The resume rides along.
